Rubber Nitrile O Rings

Our Rubber Nitrile O Rings are used in a variety of Industries, like Automotive, Engineering, Defence, and Construction. We mix and test our own Nitrile and Nitrile PVC Compounds, to ensure a quality product. Nitrile (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) provides excellent resistance to petroleum oils and gasoline as well as vegetable and mineral oils. It also has excellent heat-aging properties, giving it a key advantage of natural rubber. Used mainly for seals and gaskets where exposure to oil and grease is common. However it is also used in applications requiring resistance to abrasion, heat, water, and gas permeability. Nitrile is available in a variety of Acrylonitrile contents, and as the Acrylonitrile content increases so does the range of its possible uses. Leave it up to Ema Rubber Industries to decide the best blend to give you the best results. Available in Hardness range 40-100° Shore A in all colours. Heat range 100°C Continuous, 130°C Intermittent. Low temp resistance of -20°C. Not recommended for use in applications where resistance to oxygenated solvents like acetone and ketone is required. Not recommended for exposure to sunlight. Also has inferior tear resistance and electrical insulation properties. Production capacity - > 10,000,000 pieces per month.

 

Rubber EPDM O Rings

We are offering of Rubber EPDM O Rings. Our EPDM O Rings are used in variety of industries, like Maritime, Defence, and Automotive. O Rings form a critical seal between two adjoining components, and a high degree of precision is required, combined with the correct polymer and hardness. Ema Rubber Industries can be your technical partner in achieving your best possible O Ring Solution.EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) Rubber has outstanding resistance to aging, weather, ozone, oxygen, and many chemicals. It offers excellent high and low temperature stability, plus steam and water resistance. EPDM has better dynamic properties than natural rubber or SBR.

  • Available in Hardness range 40-95 in all colours. Heat range 130C Continuous, 150 Intermittent. Low temp resistance of -50C.
  • Not recommended where continuous contact with petroleum based products is required.
  • Production capacity - > 10,000,000 pieces per month.

 

Rubber SBR O Rings

We are offering of Rubber SBR O Rings.Our SBR O Rings are used in a variety of industries, like Defence, Engineering, and Automotive. We formulate, mix, and test our own SBR to ensure a quality product.O rings form a critical seal between two adjoining components, and no-one understands this importance better than Ema Rubber Industries. SBR (a copolymer of Styrene and Butadiene) has properties similar to natural rubber, but with greater resistance to abrasion, wear, and water. Other advantages over Natural Rubber Include Superior low temperature flexibility, better heat resistance and heat aging qualities.

Other details:

  • Available in Hardness Range 40-95° in all colours. Heat range 85°C Continuous, 115°C Intermittent. Low temp resistance of -55°C.
  • Not recommended for Ozone, oil, solvent, or fuel applications. Suitable for Mild Acid or Base resistance.
  • Production capacity - > 10,000,000 pieces per month.

Rubber Silicone O Rings

We are offering of Rubber Silicone O Rings. Our Silicone O Rings find their application in the widest array of industries and uses, as silicone is one of the most versatile polymers available. We formulate, mix, and test our own silicone compounds, and can supply in various grades of silicone to find the best use and solution for you.O Rings form a critical seal between two adjoining components, and a high degree of precision is required, combined with the correct polymer and hardness. Ema Rubber Industries can be your technical partner in achieving your best possible O Ring Solution. Silicone rubber is a highly inert material and does not react with most chemicals. As silicone does not have the carbon backbone that can leave it susceptible to ozone, UV, heat, and other aging factors, it makes it a rubber of choice in many extreme environments. Silicone also has excellent compression set and good release characteristics. It has extreme low and high temperature resistance, and is usually the material of choice in all food grade applications. Silicone also has excellent thermal stability, which make it a material of choice for applications where dielectric strength and power factor requires to be unaffected by temperature changes. Silicone forms tight seals and repels water making it suitable for many marine and food grade applications. Silicone rubber is best at maintaining its properties over the widest range of temperatures.

Products details:

  • Available in Hardness range 40-80° Shore A in all colours. Heat range 205°C Continuous, 300°C Intermittent. Low temp resistance of -60°C.
  • Not recommended for applications where concentrated solvents, oils, and acids are present. Also has high gas permeability, and is relatively higher cost than other synthetic polymers such as EPDM and Nitrile.

    Rubber Viton O Rings

    Our Viton O Rings find their use in Aerospace, Defence, Military, Chemical, Engineering, Automotive, and Medical applications. Viton (commonly known as FKM) is a registered trademark of DuPont in America. Ema Rubber Industries manufactures precision flashless O Rings for critical applications in Viton.

    Viton is well known for its excellent resistance to aggressive fuels and chemicals, and high heat resistance (up to 200°C), and resistance to abrasions and cuts. Viton is the all round elastomer, and can meet many performance specifications. But Viton is mainly valued for its excellent heat stability, and resistance to aggressive fuels and chemicals. Very often the choice of material for any application requiring a broad range of performance parameters, it finds its use in a large number of industries.

    Available in Hardness range 50-90° Shore A in a limited range of colours. Heat range 205°C Continuous, 300°C Intermittent. Low temp resistance of -20°C.

    Not recommended for applications where Acetone is present.

    Rubber Neoprene O Rings

We also achieve excellent results in our highly desired Neoprene and Natural Blends.

    Neoprene was the worlds first synthetic elastomer with oil resistance, and is still the primary choice in a range of applications. Neoprene is a reasonably priced mid performance polymer with a good all round balance of performance characteristics. It is also one of the only self-extinguishing elastomers, making it ideal for fire resistance applications.

    Available in Hardness range 30-90° Shore A in a full range of colours. Heat range 95°C Continous, 105°C Intermittent. Low temp resistance of -40°C.
